Firm History

The Law Firm of Ayres Carr & Sullivan traces its roots back to 1914. With statewide representation in Indiana, the firm strives to offer outstanding legal services to clients large and small. We can assist you in pre-trial disputes or business advising, as well as civil, criminal and appellate situations, in state and federal courts.

Whether you are a large or small business needing advice on corporate matters, or a regular person who finds you need the help of a lawyer, Ayres Carr & Sullivan attorneys look forward to working with you.

Many of our six members and two associates have decades of experience practicing law in our state.  The firm itself can trace its roots all the way back to 1914, when attorneys Fenton, Henley, Joseph & Steers began serving clients in central Indiana.  Ayres Carr and Sullivan, P.C., was formed in 2000, when the firm of Buschmann, Carr and Shanks merged with Steers Sullivan PC.

Attorneys at Ayres Carr & Sullivan support diverse interests throughout the local community, including charities, churches, high schools and more.  We have offices in Indianapolis and Noblesville. We can offer fixed hourly rates or fixed fees, and accept most major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Diner’s Club, JCB, and American Express).
